The Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle celebrates a record-breaking season.

The Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle continues to go from strength to strength with a record amount raised for grassroots clubs during the 2022/23 season. In this campaign, Toyota Australia teamed up with Australian cricket star Marnus Labuschagne to amplify the message and encourage cricket fans around Australia to get involved.

A total of 987 clubs raised $973,015, surpassing last year’s milestone of $849,970, while the top seven clubs raised over $10k each. It’s an incredible achievement to celebrate, given Toyota pays for all the prizes and raffle administration, so that 100% of the proceeds go directly back into local clubs.

Contributing to this year’s record numbers was a slick integrated marketing campaign rolled out by Gemba. A hero film featuring Marnus Labuschagne, Alyssa Healy and Usman Khawaja encouraged Aussie fans to dig deep and buy a ticket, while a strong digital and eDM push kept local clubs engaged and motivated to sell.

For the past ten years, the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle has been helping clubs raise funds for anything they need, including new equipment, quality coaching and facilities upgrades. The Raffle provides a free and easy method for clubs to raise cash with a huge prize pool and lots of great tools to help sales.

With three brand-new Toyota’s, money-can’t-buy-experiences, signed merchandise as well as many other prizes on offer, it’s no wonder the raffle raised a record amount.

Since 2012, the Toyota Good for Cricket program has raised more than $5 million for community clubs around Australia and is part of the wider Toyota ‘Good for…’ program.
