Westpac sets the scene with the world’s most beautiful cinema.

For the last few weeks, Gemba has been helping Westpac activate the Westpac OpenAir Cinema at Mrs Macquarie’s Point in Sydney. Each night up to 2,000 people make their way through the Botanical Gardens to catch sunset views over the harbour and a blockbuster movie. Picture a 350m2 screen with the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and city skyline as the background. It really is the ‘world’s most beautiful cinema’.

Cinema and sunset views aside, guests have access to a mouth-watering selection of food, along with an open bar to enjoy an ice cold beverage, perfect for a balmy Sydney night.

The real treat comes for Westpac customers who purchased tickets during the pre-sale and automatically go into the draw to win a VIP upgrade. Winners could skip the queue and enter the elevated Westpac PremiAir Terrace, offering a private bar, table service and Instagram worthy views. If that wasn’t enough, VIP upgrade winners were given the best, pre-reserved cinema seats in the grandstand and a complimentary ice-cream to kick the movie off. Delicious.
