Following successful launch and expansion in Europe, Gemba continue growth with the appointment of European board member and industry expert Murray Barnett.
As part of a recent launch in Europe, Murray Barnett has been appointed to the Gemba Europe board. Gemba announced the launch of its London office in December 2022 to service a growing roster of clients based in Europe.
Rob Mills, Chief Executive Officer of Tenka (owners and managers of Gemba), outlined the decision to appoint Barnett to the board:
“We have worked with Murray in Europe for several years and have always been impressed with his ability to think differently about the industry and implement new approaches. Murray’s deep and practical experience across media organisations, rights holders and agencies will be invaluable to the Gemba leadership team in Europe as we look to our grow our European business.’’
Murray will support recently appointed European General Manager, Claire Kelly, and Global Managing Director, Andrew Condon.
Barnett explained his rationale for joining the Gemba board:
