Westpac and Gemba have expanded last year’s three-part series into an all-new four-part series entitled “Art of the Catch”, designed to help fans master their stadium catches.

Catching a ball at the footy is an experience like no other. For the fortunate fan, it’s a moment of pride and joy, turning into an unforgettable tale to share with friends and family. For everyone else in the stadium or watching the broadcast, it’s pure entertainment. Now, thanks to Westpac’s CATCH & KEEP promotion, that moment just got even sweeter—any fan who catches the Westpac Official Match Ball during Magic Round, the Origin Series, the Final Series, or the NRL/NRLW Grand Final gets to keep it.

The series stars a line-up of NRL and NRLW players and is packed with tips on how to seize the moment when opportunity literally falls from the sky. Whether it’s staying focused amid the distractions of the stadium (The Art of Focus), mastering the patience needed to wait for the perfect moment (The Art of Patience), training at home to be ready for the big catch (The Art of Preparation), or celebrating your triumph (The Art of Celebration), Westpac has you covered.

The first episode of “Art of the Catch” dropped on NRL and players’ social channels prior to Magic Round, with the remaining episodes released in the lead-up to the NRL and NRLW Grand Finals on Sunday, October 6, alongside a homepage takeover on NRL.com.

Westpac has also launched a consumer promotion in conjunction with the series, giving rugby league fans the chance to win a Grand Final experience, including flights, accommodation, and prime seats. The ball and bragging rights await, all proudly backed by Westpac.
