For the third season running, Toyota are helping women and girls around Australia get the right gear to play the game they love. Toyota are offering 100 teams up to $1,600 in financial grants to help pay for brand new uniforms designed specifically for female players. This takes the total number of grants provided to 300 since the program’s inception in 2020.

Toyota are proud to be supporting women in sport at all levels, from the AFLW right through to the grassroots game. By providing ‘kit that fits’, the brand helps give women and girls around Australia the confidence to play the game they love.

In Season 2022, Toyota and Gemba are leveraging the Toyota x AFLW partnership to showcase how Toyota’s Good for Footy Program is making a real impact on players’ lives. Toyota want to continue making the game more accessible for women and girls, because that’s good for footy.

Documentary-style hero videos feature real grassroots players, all successful gear applicants feature telling fans what their jumpers mean to them. This piece will be seen in-stadia at all AFLW games across 2022 and the campaign will also be integrated across broadcast partners, OOH, social & PR & digital channels.

Through this campaign, we’re aiming to promote Toyota’s long-standing community values, reinforcing that Toyota is Good for Footy and having a positive influence on society.
