Paralympics Australia’s strategic objectives are encapsulated in its five-year strategic plan (2017-2021), strategic priorities and annual operational plans. To assist with annual business planning for FY20, Gemba facilitated a full-day Strategy Hack with the organisation’s leadership team to review, stress-test and refresh the annual business plan for FY20, within the existing strategy framework.

In one day, Gemba produced a refined strategy-on-a-page to better reflect the organisation’s priorities. This included stress testing FY20 initiatives for each strategic pillar and enabler as well as prioritising initiatives for each pillar. Gemba was also able to gain alignment on long-term (5+ years) and short-term (FY20) targets for each strategic pillar and enabler.
